Autoreview availability

Hi all!

I'm a Development Manager working for a small software company in Finland, responsible for our development practices and QA. We are using GitHub Copilot with a VS Code integration but lack the capability to leverage it (or another AI tool) in Bitbucket.

To speed up our development without sacrificing quality, we have a high demand for an automated Pull Request reviewer tool, which we believe would enhance our code review process. It is my responsibility to integrate such a solution for our Bitbucket PRs.

Initially, I hoped to utilize our existing GitHub Copilot license, but such integration seems unavailable, even though this page got my hopes up: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/bitbucket/github-copilot-bitbucket-jira-and-confluence

The page later mentions an "AI code review pipe," but it only supports ChatGPT. I then noticed a mention of a truly Bitbucket native solution, Autoreview agent, and signed up for the waitlist a while back. As I cannot just sit and wait forever, my questions are:

1. Is there any schedule for when the Autoreview agent will become available?

2. Are there any plans to create a code review pipe integration for GitHub Copilot, similar to the one created for ChatGPT?

I want to emphasize that we see a Pull Request reviewer tool as a key enabler, and I would guess many think the same. I would appreciate it a lot not to be forced to use some 3rd party integration that might or might not have support in the future.

1- It's difficult to say at the moment as the timeline will depend on the outcome of the Closed Beta you will be part of, however, I would recommend attending the announcements during TEAM 25 (you can register here) as I would expect that more information will be shared on that topic.

2- Bitbucket integrated with Co-pilot. Can you tell us more about the issue you faced?  Additionnally Atlassian Intelligence is not solely using OpenAI, this page will give you more answers on potential concerns about data security https://www.atlassian.com/trust/atlassian-intelligence

Elaborating on my second question regarding GitHub Copilot integration: The issue is that there seems to be no integration available to utilize Copilot in Bitbucket Pull Request review work, either by Atlassian or a third party.

What we need is a tool that provides feedback and suggestions to the PR author, ideally as comments to the PR. So functionality offered by Bito's AI Code Review Agent, for example.

However, as first aid a pipeline integration by Atlassian, such as the atlassian/bitbucket-chatgpt-codereview but for GitHub Copilot would be helpful, while waiting Autoreview agent to become available.

And there is a Code Reviewer agent for PR reviews! 🎉

I've enabled it in my repository settings, but nothing happens when I create a Pull Request. When enabling the feature, it mentioned something about a 15-minute delay or so, but it has been one hour now since I enabled it.

Hopefully it activates soon. I'm very excited to see it in action!
