I am having an issue today where my answers are disappearing. It feels like a caching or load balancing issue but it's made me reluctant to answer any more questions. Is there a way to submit a bug or problem with Atlassian Community itself? I haven't been able to find it.
BTW the issue is that I see my answer in a browser tab but in a second tab or different browser, the answer is missing even after 30 minutes. I haven't answered any questions for a while until today, so it may not be a new problem. Thanks!
Hi @John Price
I think you can reach them directly at this email: communitymanagers@atlassian.com
Good luck!
Thanks, I'm giving that a shot!

Hello @John Price
A Community Leader has raised this issue through our channels with the Community Managers.
Looking at your profile I can see two answers posted by you about 4 hours ago. That is all I see for today beside this current post and a reply on this post. I don't see anything in the Quarantine folder for your for today.
Have you added answers to other posts today? Can you provide links to other posts where you have added answers today? That might help the Community Managers investigate the issue.

@John Price what browser and device are you using, John? Are the answers also gone from your posting history?

Hey @Monique vdB (and thanks for reaching out via email) - my answer here is clearly present now: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-questions/Does-the-GitLab-for-Jira-Cloud-App-support-self-managed-GitLab/qaq-p/2982198 .
I really think it was some sort of caching issue (on the server side). I was initially using Firefox, where I saw the answer in one tab but not the other, but when I went to the page in Chrome I also didn't see the answer. I was using private tabs in FF so that would explain the different results per tab. Maybe my second private FF and regular Chrome tabs got directed to different web server nodes, where I assume each visitor gets a "sticky session". That would explain why hard refreshing each tab didn't cause the answer to appear even after 30+ minutes.
Pony Request: I'd love to see Community status at https://status.atlassian.com/ when there are known issues!

@John Price yeah cacheing is usually the cuprit, I'm glad your answer finally appeared! We've had to flush the cashe a couple of times for performance issues this week so could have just been weird timing. But if you keep noticing it do let us know.
I'll investigate why commmunity isn't listed on Statuspage, I believe we are supposed to be! So hopefully you'll get that pony... 🐎

@John Price the team reminded me Community is under "Atlassian Support" on the Statuspage. I've refilled my coffee ☕️
