Access to AI for jira software

So I don't know if we're doing something wrong. Apparently, our organization already has AI access for all products.


However, it only runs in Confluence and JSM (AI Agent), and it doesn't turn on in Jira software despite the checked checkbox.


Is this something on my side or yours?

@Tomasz Pośpiech - i contacted support through an admin support ticket it was resolved within 2 business days. my question here is still pending the same ask.  

BTW - how is the confluence AI ? is it worth it?

Confluence AI is great but of course there is room for improvement.

The AI in Jira Software searching is only available within projects. It is not yet available within the Advanced issue search.

Apologies for the slow response on this. 

The Jira AI Search feature is only available in our new issue navigation experience - currently this is only accessible via a specific project (although you can remove the project refinement to search across all projects).

To access it:

1. Select your Jira Software project

2. Select the Issues view option from the side panel. If the Issues view is not appearing for you, go into project settings -> features and toggle Issue Navigator on.

3. Alternatively, you can append /issues onto the URL from a specific project in Jira Software
