Verified Agents in Rovo

We’re excited to announce the new Verified Agents feature in Rovo! Now, organization admins can mark certain agents as “Verified,” making it easier for everyone to find and trust the best agents for your team.

What is a Verified Agent?

A Verified Agent is an agent that your admin has reviewed and officially endorsed as safe and supported for your organization. When you see the Verified badge, you know the agent is trusted and recommended

How Does It Work?

• Who can verify? Only Org admins can verify or remove verification of agents. Builders without admin rights cannot self-verify their agents.

• How to verify: Admins simply click the … menu on an agent and select “Verify agent.” The Verified badge will then appear across supported UI surfaces.

• How to remove verification: Admins can remove verification at any time. Admins simply click the … menu on an agent, select “remove verification” and the badge will disappear..

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does verification change what an agent can access or do?
A: No. Verification is a trust signal only; it does not affect permissions or capabilities.

Q: Can I filter to only show Verified agents?
A: Yes! You can filter or sort by Verified status in Agent Browse.

Q: Can a Verified agent be unverified?
A: Absolutely. Admins can remove verification at any time.

One question - can the verified agents be somehow promoted to be on the top of the agent search results by default?

Generally I'm looking for ways how to enforce/surface (or at least promote) specific agents to be used by the whole org.

At the moment, Rovo doesn’t provide an admin setting to force verified agents to appear at the very top of agent search results by default. But:

• Verified agents are already highlighted, grouped under “Verified agents” in Browse, and clearly marked with a blue checkmark across Rovo Search and Chat.

• There is no current setting to automatically pin verified agents to the top of all agent search results by default.

• In practice, organisations address this today through verification strategies, governance, naming conventions, and direct sharing.

If Atlassian adds admin‑level ranking or pinning controls in the future, that would be the feature that truly makes verified agents “always on top” in search, but it’s not available yet based on the current documentation.

Hey all! We will be adding Verified to the top of the list when selecting agents, just pending some search work (aka it's in progress) 

New order of selection will be as follows: 
1. (up to) 3 Favorites
2. (up to) 3 Verified
3. (up to) 3 Top used in your org
4. Rest of agents


Curious your feedback on that order/number.
