Start Date and custom fields aren't present in CSV export

We tried to use CSV exports to do some analytics on the goals (while still waiting for the APIs to be available), but discovered Start Date, plus any customer fields are not present in the CSV exports.

 

Had anyone else encountered this? Am I missing something?
