Is there an option to send "urgent" updates out of cadence?

The concept of having a digest that rolls up all your updates for the week is great, but what if there's the need for an update that can't wait until the next week? i.e. if a project gets placed on hold at the start of the week then this is probably something you'd want to be communicated straight away, rather than waiting another week. 

Is this something that's possible at present, or is it something that's planned to be added?

Hi James, there isn't a way of pushing out an update as a notification or email immediately at the moment, but it's something for us to think more about.

One place where updates are shared as soon as they're written is via our Slack integration, so if a project is connected to a Slack channel then an update will be posted there right away.

I would love this feature too! And just one thing about Slack - I have the Slack integration enabled, but don't get updates there right away - is there a setting for that or is it not working properly?
