Dear Atlassian/Xray Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

We are currently using Jira with the Xray add-on, and we would like to clarify our billing. Our active Xray users are only 5 team members, but we are being billed according to the full Jira user tier.

Could you please confirm if it is possible to issue a bill (or subscription adjustment) limited to 5 Xray users only, instead of matching the entire Jira license tier? If not, kindly advise if there are any alternative licensing or pricing options that would allow us to pay only for the actual Xray users.

Welcome to the community.

This is not possible. Licenses on 3rd party tools are inherent to the number of licenses of the Jira product.

There are no alternative pricing options, this is how the Atlassian license model works.
