Based on this link https://support.smartbear.com/zephyr-dc/docs/en/jql-functions.html, I should be able to use the ZQL in the filter section of JIRA but when we tried it out, system says "cannot see the syntax".
Hello, Good day. Zephyr JQL function is available only in Jira DC/Server. Are you using Jira cloud version?

Hi Sherwin, that error typically means the Zephyr app that provides ZQL isn’t installed, enabled, licensed, or available to your project. ZQL functions only work with supported Zephyr products (e.g., Squad/Scale/DC) and correct project permissions otherwise Jira treats the syntax as plain text. Verify which Zephyr product/version you’re on, that it’s active for the project, and consider a Jira reindex after enabling. Think of ZQL as an add-on capability like using a sig fig calculator: you need the right tool enabled before the syntax “works.”

Hi Swerwin
You're right to expect that ZQL functions like hasAllLastTestResults(Pass) should work, but if you're seeing an error like "Unable to find JQL function...", it usually means the Zephyr plugin isn’t installed or properly configured. These functions only work if you're using Zephyr for Jira (Data Center) and the correct variant (Squad, Scale, or Enterprise). Also, make sure you're not on Jira Cloud, as support differs. If the plugin is installed, try reindexing Jira and double-check that the function is enabled. Otherwise, Jira won’t recognize it.
Hope this helps.
