What happens to my XRay issues after my XRay lincense expires?

Our company has Jira Data Center with XRay. Our annual XRay license will expire before we can renew it. Will I be able to

• read the contents of my XRay Test, Test Set, Test Plan etc issues in Jira
• create new XRay type issues (Test, Test Execution, Test Plan)
• use the XRay REST API

Hi @A Mester 

If you do not have a valid Xray license, you will not be able to use the REST API, all Xray panel you see in issues like list of test and test execution from the test plan will not be displayed anymore. You will be able to create test type for instance but some Xray fields will not be available.

Everything will come back available when a valid license will be added.

Welcome to the community.

All Xray options in relation to API and functionality like;

- Xray panel on issues

- Test execution view

- etc.. (all app aplciation features)

will not be usable anymore.

You will still have the issues but all app related functionality is gone.

You can still make issues based on the Xray issues types, they will be just Jira issue types now.
