Time shift settings Activity Timeline vs Jira

Walter_ehrenhard

Hi,

I am facing time-shift issues.

My settings for Timezone in Jira are Amsterdam (+2:00) so the actual time is correct.

But if planned startdate is tomorrow 3PM Activity Timeline says: 2PM (we use date/time)

So, i know there is a time zone shift setting and ours is set to:

Can someone explain to me what the 10.5  and the 1 represent?  Hours? But why 10.5?

What does the 10.5;1 actually do?

Kind regards,

Walter

Hi Walter!

As far as I can see our support team has addressed this issue via a live chat, but I'll also leave the answer for others to see:

So 10.5 is a technical parameter needed to ensure tasks remain on the same day for global teams with big timezone differences, but if you are using Date/Time zone it's what comes after ";"
In your case we need to change it to "2", so it aligns with your time zone
