Structure : stories belonging to epic do not show up

In the structure and inserted the below query

Project = " xyz  " AND issuetype = Epic

Followed by Extended

Add issues belonging to epics

But I am not seeing the output it is empty though I have few stories which are linked to epics as child.

Is it something wrong from JIRA configuration? because the same query works for another project "abc" I am not getting what is going wrong with project "xyz".

Hello @Parveen Taj

If an Epic has issues in it and these issues don't appear after you add the Stories Under Epics Extend generator in the structure, you need to check the following:

1. The extender's Extend on Level setting is set to the right scope of hierarchy levels. For testing purposes, you can keep it as default on levels 1 to 10.

2. If the Epic's issues are from another project, make sure that both the owner of the structure and Structure itself have access to these issues:
- add the project to the Projects with Structure list at Administration | Structure | Configuration. If a project is not on that list, it won't be possible to add any of its issues to any structure.
- log in as the owner of the structure in Jira (you can find the owner by double-clicking on any generator of the structure; the owner is the Runs As user), and check if the user can see the issues of the Epic or not.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance or if you have other questions about Structure - please reach out to us directly at our support portal.

Best regards,
