Hi,

I would like to create a ScriptRunner endpoint that is basically open to all portal users. Those users are known to Jira, but do not have any specific group.

The idea is to ensure that annonymous usage is not possible, but this would require a login page to be shown. Also, some users reported that the SSO did not work for them and the REST endpoint is not working as they are not logged in.

Is it possible to somehow do a login when accessing the REST Endpoint as annonymous user? Like a redirect to the Jira login page or something like that?

Thanks for your help!

Stefan

Hi Ram,

unfortunately, I did not find a solution for this. It seems redirect to Jira Login page is not really possible that easy. The only solution I could have come up is the usage of some kind of proxy, which is handling the login instead. However, using some integrated function inside Jira was not something I have found :(

Regards,

Stefan
