When the Perforce ALM plugin is installed in Jira I can see the linked perforce Items/Discrepancy Reports/Test Cases/etc. on a Jira Issue. It is possible to export this information using an Xporter template? If so, how?

Hi Emma,

This depends on how the Perforce ALM app exposes that information inside Jira.

Perforce/Helix ALM can link Jira issues with ALM items such as requirements, test cases and test runs. However, for Xporter the key question is whether those linked ALM values are stored/exposed as Jira fields that Xporter can read.

I would check it this way:

1. Open one Jira issue that shows the Perforce ALM information.
2. Check whether the Perforce ALM values appear as Jira fields or custom fields.
3. If they do, Xporter should usually be able to include those fields in a template, the same way it handles other Jira custom fields.
4. If the information only appears inside a Perforce ALM panel or app section, then a normal Xporter template may not be able to export it directly.

In that second case, I would contact Xporter support and Perforce support to confirm whether there is a supported integration or field mapping for those ALM-linked items.
