Hi @Yasmine Nasri

My name is Kevin and I'm the Services Lead for Exalate.

When you are talking about migration for Exalate, do you mean using the tool as a Migration solution or you are moving from DC to Cloud and want to now how to migrate the current date from your DC Exalate to a cloud one?

If we are talking about the Exalate data itself. The best approach its probably going to be to install Exalate on the Cloud version.

1. Re create the existing connection from the DC instance into the Cloud.

2. Copy the configuration/scripts you already have, (small comment here, Exalate for DC and Cloud has small differences, so some sort of update to the scripts will be needed)

3. If need to keep the existing/already sync tickets under sync on the new connection, you will need to get the Issue pairs from the DC and then you can do a Bulk connect operation to recreate the relation between tickets under the new Cloud instance.

Let me know if you have any further questions

Hi @Kevin Yorston - Exalate   ,

Thank you for your response.

Following up on your point about recreating connections: We have over 300 connections . Manually recreating 300 connections in the Cloud UI is not only time-consuming but carries a high risk of configuration error.

  1. Automation: Does Exalate provide an API or a CLI tool to bulk-create connections or import a configuration backup from DC to Cloud?

  2. Templates: Can we use the "New Exalate Console" to push shared script templates across these 300 connections?

  3. Support: Since we are an Exalate Partner, can we get access to any internal migration scripts you might have for large-scale customers?

Best regards,
Yasmine
