How to add the default value in the Test Details custom field in Steps in Test work type?

Hi Team,

Kindly, provide the procedure to add default value in the Steps tab of Test Details field  (Xray plugin custom field) in Test (Xray plugin work type) for specific project not globally.

The values must be updated in the ticket right after ticket creation automatically.

Please find the sample requirement in the Attachment.

Hi, by default this is not possible natively in Xray Test Management for Jira. However, you can import steps from an existing test or use the Call Test feature to reuse steps from other test cases.

I'd recommend reaching out directly to Xray vendor through one of their support channels. 👀
Xblend (vendor) is usually quite responsive when it comes to support and troubleshooting questions.

I haven't played with Xray for a while, so it might take some time to dig this information out (if it's even possible).
