How to add a mention user to a body of an issue

Dear all,

I am using script runner in Jira cloud and actually I have trouble to update an issue comment with a mention inside

For that I have the following code snipet :

def reporter=CurrentIssueField.reporter.displayName
myBody="Dear [~$reporter], Your request has been assigned to our Team."

def commentResp = post("/rest/api/2/issue/DEMO-9/comment")
.header('Content-Type', 'application/json')
.body("body": myBody)
.asObject(Map)

When running this my comment is added to my issue but without the valid user as seen below :

The variable reporter is containing "Halp"

Does it means we need to pass it using the accountId instead ? if yes how to do this

Hi @serge calderara 

Try the following and replace the the whole string after the "accountid:" with the user's account id
