I have added Calendars to my Confluence account and have created a calendar that I have added events on.
I have the events categorized and using different colors for each event type.
I want to display upcoming events on a different page and am (attempting to) using the Team Calendar macro - this is where the problems are.
I point to the calendar name, fill in how I want to display the calendar (list, month, etc.), height and width, etc., but for whatever reason the Team Calendar macro doesn't recognize the name of the calendar that I've created and doesn't pull in the events to populate the calendar. I can tell that in the preview as well as if I click save and display on the page.
I am the administrator of my account so security/roles should not be the problem. Does anyone else have experience with using Calendars and the Team Calendar macro that could help me out?
I did find a similar question: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Team-Calendars-for-Confluence/can-t-see-calendar-in-Confluence-even-after-adding-team-calendar/qaq-p/1156400 and asked this question there too (sorry for the duplicate).
I was able to solve this issue by using the CalendarID instead of using the calendar name.
Having the exact same issue, and the ID workaround fixed. However, this is a non-ideal workaround. Any clues on to how to get it fixed so we can use the calendar name instead?

Hello Matthew,
I'm really not sure what the issue is, based on what you describe, but it works quite well for me.
Maybe it's because you're typing the calendar name manually?
If we agree that the calendar you're trying to reference does exist in Confluence, in that same space (or a space you have rights on), maybe you should start back from the "create" prompt.
Insert a new Team calendar macro. Choose "add an existing Calendar". then you can use the search the bar, or click the "popular calendars" at the bottom of the pop-up window. Maybe there is a space in your calendar's name? Anyway, are you able to find back your calendar from this prompt? if not, but that you are able to find other calendars, maybe the calendar itself might have an issue? If you try with another calendar, does it pull events?

Thank you! I eventually was able to get this to work using the CalendarID. Apologies for not marking this as solved and I do appreciate your assistance.
