• Is that the entirety of the script at this point?

If that is not all the code, I ran across a couple Community posts that may provide additional assistance:

• Script Runner Error 'Failed type checking'
• error messasge on script after upgrade Jira/Scriptrunner

Take a look at these and let me know, however, from the research I've done it sounds like the issue is coming from ScriptRunner.
