Desperately Seeking "Team Reports" Replacement

Alan Schunemann October 24, 2025

Hi, we used "Team Reports" for our client billing and weekly client updates. It has been removed from the app store. We've tested 10 of its competitors to replace it, but none of them come close to a simple report of hours by issue->users. What do you recommend? Thank you!

Hello @Alan Schunemann 👋🏻,

It’s really unfortunate that you’ve experienced such an issue with your current application. However, I would like to recommend WorklogPro Timesheets for Jira , an application that is both very easy to use and fully capable of meeting your needs.

With WorklogPro Timesheets for Jira, you can:

🌱 Create periods for any date range you want, and based on these periods, generate customized reports by grouping data by user, team, or other criteria. You can also include billable/cost values, user-based filters, or project-focused views. Once your reports are ready, you can easily export them in Excel or PDF format.

🌱 Additionally, thanks to the billable/cost feature, you can quickly and easily view the values in your reports based on the rules you have configured.

🌱 I would also like to highlight that we offer a charts feature to make analysis even easier. With a simple switch from the reports section, you can access automatically generated charts for your selected report.

🍀 Also, our application is completely free for teams with up to 10 users and also offers a free trial. You can take a look at the app via the link if you’d like: WorklogPro Timesheets for Jira. 🍀

Disclaimer:I work for the vendor who developed this application.

Yeah, losing an app you relied on sucks, especially when the replacements overcomplicate things.

JetTime might be a good fit for what you need:

  • Time tracking & timesheets with improved Log Work UI and timers
  • Cost tracking with custom financial fields
  • Custom metrics (mileage, materials, activity types, etc.)
  • Reports with PDF & Excel export
  • Runs fully on Atlassian infrastructure, so data stays inside Atlassian Cloud

It's simple, cost-effective, and built specifically for client billing and reporting workflows.

Hi @Alan Schunemann

If you are open to try out an alternate app for detailed time tracking reports, I can suggest the one we have developed

Worklogs Time Tracking in Jira & Timesheets

With this add-on, you can easily add time tracking reports as a dashboard gadget. Main features of the app -

  • Create time reports in real time by grouping & categorizing data with aggregation
  • Prepare your reports based on Project/Sprint/Issue Type/Assignees and various other filters
  • Group your data to build more meaningful reports
  • CSV Export
  • Dashboard gadget
  • Enter Time Spent for multiple issues from Time sheet screen. With Calendar view and Board view

You might want to try Time & Cost Tracker for Jira.

Our app enables you to create fully customizable time reports, allowing you to easily configure them to display exactly the level of simplicity you need. For example, if you want a straightforward report of hours by Issue → Users, you can set it up in just a few clicks by adding or removing the columns you need.

💡 Key points:

  • Create time reports based on issues, users, projects, time periods, etc.

  • Add/remove columns to keep the report as simple or detailed as you prefer

  • Export for client billing or weekly status updates

  • Free trial available

  • Completely free for teams with up to 10 users

You can try the app on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Thanks, @Valerie Knapp for mentioning eazyBI

The eazyBI Playground is a good place to experiment and try building a new report from scratch.
For a quicker start, one can also explore our report library and pick an existing example to adapt to their own data using the export/import report definition feature.

For instance, this Time Tracking dashboard gives a good idea of what’s possible in eazyBI, showing hours spent by users who logged them.

Best,

Hi @Alan Schunemann , thanks for your post.

I am not familiar with Team Reports but I think eazybi could probably do something like this. Please check out their playground / demo environment - https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/cubes/Issues/reports/514679-eazybi-playground

and / or reach out to them with your requirements - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211051/eazybi-reports-and-charts-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Best wishes

We test drove 10 apps to replace "Team Reports" (because it's no longer) - here's our note from eazybi:

way too much for our needs

The "Team Reports" app created a simple report that was easy to read for our clients. Report hours by summary-work log author
