When creating a defect from an Xray test run test step, the defect does not shows up in the dashboard

Are you sure that when you create the defect you're placing it in the correct location or using the correct label so that it appears in the control panel? Remember that these panels have filters, and the new defect must meet their criteria; otherwise, it won't appear
