Confiforms, limit a field to one value with overwrite

Sebastian Kammermeier March 28, 2025

Hello,
I want to use two fields with start an end date for filtering a table (table transformer).

So I want to limit the Confiforms fields to one value only each. When a new date is chosen the old entry should be overwritten.

I tried the "Rules for FieldDefinition", but could not make the trigger/filter work.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Do you want to have just one row in a table/form? Or do you want to have unique rows (by field values) rendered in a table?

Thank you for you response! I meant just one row.

But I just found out that I can use the "table filter" to specify dates, even when I continue to process/nest the table in more "table transformers" (for pivot etc.)

So I don't need the detour via entering dates with confiforms and filter via alasql in table transfomer

You can also limit the number of rows returned by the TableView and of course sort and filter if necessary, right in the TableView via corresponding parameters
