Automate ScriptRunner using the REST API

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to figure out how to automate the creation or management of scheduled tasks (jobs or scripts) in ScriptRunner using the REST API.

I’ve gone through the ScriptRunner documentation but haven’t been able to find a clear example or reference that explains whether this is possible, and if so, how to implement it.

Could anyone please point me to the relevant section in the ScriptRunner docs (for Jira/Confluence, please specify if it matters), or share an example of how you’ve done this?

Hi Nick,

I can confirm in both ScriptRunner for Jira and Confluence cloud that we don't provide any public APIs for creating config programmatically.

This means currently you can only create this via the User Interface in the apps.
