Hey Atlassian Community! 👋
I'm Eric, founder of DataPingo. You may know me from Bulk Page Cloner for Confluence — today I'm excited to share our second app: Handoff for Jira, now live on the Atlassian Marketplace.
The problem it solves
When I first started using Jira, I found JQL confusing and just wanted a simple way to see my own tickets. Then I ran into the bigger issue — sharing updates across multiple tickets is repetitive and messy. You end up leaving the same comment in five different places just to keep teammates in the loop.
What Handoff for Jira does
📋 Personal ticket queues — Build a prioritized list of your key tickets and share it with teammates. No JQL needed.
Drag and drop to rearrange your personal queue, no JQL required
🔔 Multi-ticket alerts — Bundle tickets together, choose who gets notified, and share context once instead of commenting on each ticket individually. Use 📣/🔇 to control whether a comment gets posted on each Jira ticket.
Select tickets, pick recipients, add a note — hit Send Handoff and everyone's looped in
⛔ Blocker tracking — Flag and surface key blockers so your team can see what's in the way before it derails delivery. Use 📣/🔇 to control whether a comment gets posted on the affected tickets.
Tag your blocked tickets, link what's causing the block, name the responsible person — they get an alert in their Inbox
Built on Atlassian Forge — all data stays within your Jira instance. No external servers, no data leaving Atlassian.
Handoffs and blocker alerts land in your Inbox — accept one to add those tickets straight to your queue or add them individually!

This is still early days — I'm actively iterating based on feedback. Give the app a try, any feedback is very welcome!
