Prost everyone! 🍻 We're loving reading all the posts this Apptober and we've got a bunch of demo's that we will be releasing later this month ourselves!
In response to this week's Apptoberfest discussion on Apps for Marketing teams, it's important to remember that when it comes to choosing Confluence tools for marketing teams, simplicity and ease of use are critical.
While marketing teams are often tech-savvy, not everyone knows Atlassian tools inside out. Atlassian’s strength is its wide range of apps, but it’s also it’s biggest weakness. A cluttered Confluence site, can create confusion and distractions, making it harder for teams to stay focused and find what they need efficiently. That’s why having tools that maintain a clear and user-friendly interface is crucial.
Capable for Confluence was designed to disrupt the eco-system, consolidating essential features into a single plugin that transforms your team’s interface from a multi-plugin complexity into a streamlined, minimalist UI.
With Capable, accessing features is simple—just press the icon or use the shortcut key (.) Only the elements you’ve selected will appear in the top bar, keeping the interface clutter-free like so - approval, diagram:
Key Features for Marketing Teams
Effortless Campaign Scheduling: Capable’s calendar feature allows marketing teams to schedule campaigns seamlessly. Just type // to add a date, and team members can view all the dates on this page on the Capable Calendar macro by typing /.
Enhanced Search: The search navigator allows users to view key information like dates, attachments, and word counts in the sidebar, making it easy to find specific assets. Here’s a typical problem someone from a marketing team might face:
Problem: You’ve added an image to a Confluence page but later need to publish a post quickly and can’t find the original file, leaving you to search through copious pages for it.
Solution: In your Capable dashboard, use Search and filter by labels like “campaigns.” Enable the attachments column to locate pages with attachments. Select the page, click “Attachments,” and download all files in one click.
Av an Appy Apptober! We would love your feedback so please don't hesitate to comment and keep a lookout for our demos coming soon!
Update - We have now submitted three demos to Apptober and would love it if you had a watch:
Brilliant, ye you've certainly found the same type of pain point there (time and efficiency compromised in Confluence) and you've created a solution! Lack of caps is a classic and a quick, accurate way of being able to resolve this is very handy!
