Slimming Down Our Atlassian Marketplace Portfolio

Evolution has always been part of our DNA. 

At Amoeboids, we're working to enhance our product strategy to more closely align with the changing Atlassian ecosystem. As part of this effort, we have decided to retire four of our Atlassian Marketplace apps: Release Planning & Reports for Jira, Enriched Profiles for JSM, Typeform Integration for JSM, and Super Search for Jira.

These apps will be retired from the Atlassian Marketplace in the coming weeks and will no longer function after December 31st, 2025.

Why are we making this change

Over the last few years, our app portfolio has expanded to include reporting, automation, HR and program management. Each product provided us with valuable insights into customer needs, scalability, and innovation. However, growth also brings reflection.

We took a step back to ask ourselves: Where does Amoeboids create the most impact for our customers and the Atlassian ecosystem?

The response was completely clear!!! FOCUS!!!

As we prepare to make a larger investment in Atlassian Forge, now is the time to streamline. Forge represents the future of cloud app development within the Atlassian ecosystem, featuring better efficiency, security, and a more modern framework. By collaborating, we can ensure that our active apps evolve faster, integrate deeper, and provide richer experiences to customers worldwide.

This transition of retiring a few apps that did not meet our expectations allows us to concentrate our efforts on what is truly important: strengthening our flagship products and accelerating innovation. This will benefit us in areas where customers already see the most value.

What This Means for Existing Users

If you’re currently using any of the four apps listed above, there’s no need to worry.

We have rolled out in-app notifications to inform users about the upcoming retirements. The apps will be fully functional until December 31, 2025, giving teams plenty of time to continue their work and plan transitions without interruption.

If you have any questions or need assistance during this time, our team is available through our support portal. We're here to make the transition as seamless as possible.
