Today I come to you with a piece of news that will please Jira users who work with a large number of issues on a daily basis, especially users of our Issue Templates for Jira Cloud app! 🚀
Recently, the features package has grown which makes the application even more user-friendly and extends its possibilities!
The first of these is a highly unique feature is Smart Defaults. Thanks to Smart Defaults, you can stop going through all your nested issues to set the same component, version, and every Jira field - you can simply inherit a field value from the parent issue. Make your templates smart, set date fields automatically in reference to the current time, and match the assignee automatically to the reporter!
The second, highly unique feature is Recreate Issue. The functionality can help you to copy an issue with all its children and linked issues, create template structures from issues in an easy way, and clone templates.
Issue Templates for Jira Cloud is an application that minimizes manual issue creation, and helps in scaling projects, and managing them.
