Using Approvals for Confluence? The latest updates to Section Approvals make it much easier to review and approve specific parts of a page. You can now add comments directly to section approvals, set minimum approvers and expiry dates, and keep a clear record of decisions.
Section approval history is now fully tracked and easy to access. You can view, filter, or export it directly from the page - just click the History button on your Section Approval macro.
From my conversations with partners and customers, many teams already rely on section-level approvals, especially for longer or regulated content. What was often missing was better visibility and traceability as documents changed over time.
These updates help close that gap, giving teams clearer context, stronger audit trails, and more confidence in their approval process.
I’m sharing a short video recorded by Belinda, our Product Owner, where she walks through how the new section approval features work in practice - https://tinyurl.com/y34f8dje.
