We’re excited to share the latest updates to SubSpace Navigation for Confluence - and this time, it’s all about giving you (and your menus) more personality and control.
Over time, we’ve heard a lot of requests from you asking for more ways to customise menus - and we get it. You want your Confluence spaces not just to work well, but to look good too.
Here’s what’s new:
You can now click on any menu item - spaces, folders, links, or CQL - and pick an icon for it.
Why it’s awesome: Icons help users navigate faster. They’re like visual shortcuts — you can scan, spot, and click what you need without overthinking. Especially in busy spaces or big documentation setups, this makes a real difference.
Not just the top menu anymore - you can now pick background colors for sub menus too.
Why it’s awesome: This gives you the chance to align your navigation with your brand colors or space themes. Whether you want something bold or subtle, you can make it yours.
This release isn’t just about pretty icons and colors (although, let’s admit, that’s part of the fun 😉).
It’s about creating acleaner, more intuitive interface. It’s about helping users — even occasional ones — find their way faster. And yes, it’s about bringing a little creativity into the way we work. Because work should be practical, but it can also be fun.
The new features are live in the latest release — go check them out and give your Confluence menus a little glow-up! Click here to try 30 days for free!
And thank you to everyone who shared feedback and ideas with us — you help shape what SubSpace Navigation for Confluence becomes, if you have new feature requests, please feel free to let us know.
