Following the launch of Panel Metrics in SnapMetrics – Real Time Analytics, we’re excited to introduce a user experience enhancement that makes managing your metrics even easier — drag & drop reordering.

This update focuses on simplicity, speed, and flexibility, allowing you to organize your data exactly how you want it, without navigating through complex menus or settings.

Why We Added Drag & Drop

When working in Jira, efficiency matters. You need your most relevant metrics front and center, in the order that best fits your workflow. With drag & drop functionality, you can now instantly reorder metrics in the Panel Metrics screen — saving time and keeping your workspace aligned with your priorities.

How It Works

1. Add a New Metric
   Inside Panel Metrics, click Create Metric, name it, and set it up just like before — choosing the metric type, optional start/end events, and any filters you need.
2. Reorder with Drag & Drop
   Once your metrics are ready, simply click and hold a metric, then drag it to the desired position in the list.
   The change happens instantly, and the panel updates automatically — no extra confirmation needed.
3. View the Updated Order in the Panel
   When you open a ticket, the panel now reflects your chosen sequence, ensuring that your most important metrics appear exactly where you expect them.
