I really like how this concept came to reality. Something I have bookmarked to look into more - and it's quite affordable too!

Hi @Melek Jebnoun_Vectors_

I'm unable to embed your demo as I don't have access to edit discussions (only articles). You can still compete in the competition, though. Just wanted to give you a heads-up as to why it's not embedded!

Can you please let me know which category you want to participate in and I will get that tag added?

  • Apps for Admins
  • Apps for Business Teams
  • Apps for DevOps
  • OR Apps for ITSM

Thank you!

Hi @Melek Jebnoun_Vectors_ ,

Nice video and app! I have a few questions -

Can you search for Questions within the main Confluence search? Are Questions a different content type?

How is this app different than Questions for Confluence?  https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211644/questions-for-confluence?tab=reviews&hosting=cloud

Can you create and answer questions outside of creating an FAQ page?

Thanks!

Carolyn

Hello @carolyn french

Thanks a lot for your comment and your interest.

Actually it's not the same positioning for FAQ for Confluence and Questions from Atlassian. The latest is more into discussions and forum aspects within Confluence (The commenting and replying feature is developed, users are more into asking questions to get answers and to select after the right answer) where our App is more into Knowledge management and structuring the right answer to different category / thematic questions into your Confluence knowledge base. It's more dedicated for product documentation, documenting guidelines and knowledge base within Confluence.

Can you search for Questions within the main Confluence search? Are Questions a different content type?

Yep! our FAQ Questions and FAQ Categories are created as Custom content within Confluence. So both Question and Category are set as types and can be searched within Confluence global search.

Can you create and answer questions outside of creating an FAQ page?

Not yet ;) For now to create a question or answer you you must be within the FAQ Page / view but we are working on several integration either within Confluence or JSM to make it easier to reply to those questions. We have released with this version a macro listing the Questions within the space and we are gathering the interest from our users to enable actions on those questions listed within pages to make easier to edit FAQs from Confluence pages.

Feel free Carolyn to share with us any feedback or idea that you think about our App and thanks again for your interest.

Thank you for answering my questions about the app @Melek Jebnoun_Vectors_ - it clarified your vision for how the app can be used, and I think it has a very nice use case!
