What’s your role at BrizoIT?

Volodymyr:
I am the founder and CEO, but first and foremost a programmer. We are still a small team, and I continue to devote more than half of my time to hands-on technical work. I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to build this company together with such a dedicated and hard-working team.
We develop Jira calendar and planning apps, including Work Time Calendar, Company Calendar, One Calendar, and Gantt Suite for Jira, to help teams visualize their work, plan workloads, and stay in control of their schedules.

Today, our solutions support hundreds of teams across a wide range of industries, from IT and technology to electronics, automotive, healthcare, education, and non-profit organizations. It’s truly humbling to see how diverse our customer base has become.

How does your team come up with ideas for new apps?

Volodymyr:
BrizoIT actually started with a very personal need. Back when I was working as a developer, I needed a simple and convenient way to log and report my time. That’s how Work Time Calendar was born — it started as a tool I built for myself. Soon after, I realized that many of my colleagues faced the same challenge and began using it as well. That was the moment BrizoIT really took shape.

Since then, customer feedback has become our biggest source of inspiration. Many new features and ideas come directly from real business problems we hear about in support tickets, demo calls, and day-to-day conversations with our users. We strongly believe that staying close to customers —and truly understanding how their processes work — is essential. That’s how we help teams adapt Jira to their business needs, rather than forcing businesses to adapt to Jira.

What do you think has been the secret to your success so far?

Volodymyr:
If I had to name one thing, it would be our strong focus on high-quality customer support. Building trust — especially with enterprise customers — has been critical for us. Our apps are highly customizable, which means they can be tailored to different industries and varying levels of project complexity.

Our goal has always been to make Jira work for people, not the other way around. That mindset has helped us grow steadily and build long-term relationships with our customers.

What is your most popular app, and what problem does it solve?

Volodymyr:
Company Calendar for Jira has become our most popular app, especially among enterprise teams. It helps organizations visualize their Jira data in an advanced calendar view, making schedules, deadlines, and responsibilities much easier to understand.

Many people process information visually, and seeing tasks laid out clearly in a calendar — whether daily, weekly, or monthly — makes planning far more effective. This becomes especially valuable during release cycles or high-pressure periods, when priorities can easily overlap. With Company Calendar, teams can instantly see what needs attention today, who is responsible, and when deadlines are approaching — all in one place.

What’s next for BrizoIT?

Volodymyr:
We’ve recently released new functionality in One Calendar and Company Calendar that allows teams to plan workloads not only by assignees, but also around machines, vehicles, rooms, and other shared resources. This opens up entirely new planning possibilities, especially for industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics.

Our next step is simple: keep improving, stay close to our customers, and continue releasing features that help teams save time and plan their work more effectively.
