App editions are officially coming to the Atlassian Marketplace soon!

However, we’re excited to share that 8 more top Jira and Confluence apps with advanced editions are live.

Users can view and submit an upgrade request for the apps below ahead of general availability (GA) later this year.

App editions allow teams to upgrade from the standard edition of their app(s) to an advanced edition (where applicable), which provides users with even more exciting capabilities like:

  • Advanced features

  • Extended support coverage

  • More admin insights

Whether you’re an SMB or a large enterprise, there’s an edition for you!

Note: With an advanced edition, you get everything listed under standard plus the additional features listed under advanced. Also, the pricing displayed in the image above is based on 10 users billed monthly.

Making it more feasible to segment features and pricing in Atlassian Marketplace has been a long time coming. Ask me how I know ;)

It's a fine line. It could help customers pay for just what they need; it could potentially price customers out entirely. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
