We’re excited to share some news for growing teams and startups using Jira. Starting today, the AI Test Case Generator for for Jira, Xray and Zephyr is free for instances with 1–10 users.

What This Means 

This update is designed to make AI-driven testing more accessible to growing teams who are often balancing limited resources with ambitious goals. By removing cost as a barrier, smaller teams can: 

• Automatically generate test cases directly from user stories.

• Speed up test coverage without increasing headcount.

• Gain the same efficiency larger teams rely on—at no cost. 

Current Users

If your Jira instance already has 1–10 users, there’s nothing you need to do. The free tier applies automatically.

Getting Started

For new users, simply head to the Atlassian Marketplace for the AI Test Case Generator and install the app. If your Jira instance has 1–10 users, the free plan will be applied right away.
