Hi,
After years of idealistically trying to adopt various forms of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban) in small teams (< 6 people), I've come to the conclusion that either we are doing it wrong or maybe there are better methodologies? We thought we were alone, but at a local tech networking event 100% of the group of developers I asked were not using Agile 'properly' or at all - which really surprised me.
What have you found to work best for very small teams? Is there a sweet spot in team size? (According to structure of Scrum teams and available literature, the optimal team size is between 6-9.)
I'm hoping to uncover some useful data through my Master's Thesis research - so if you have any insights into or experience with this, I would really appreciate your input 🙏🏾. It's a 1-2 minute survey: "The Effectiveness of Agile PM in Small Teams"
Let me know if you are interested in hearing about the data / results uncovers.
Looking forward to hearing your insights in the comments below.
