can we have the Fix Version set at the story level cascade to the sub-task level

Is there a way to have the fix version from the parent card be inherited to the sub task?  The field exist on the sub task. 

The issue is that on Kanban boards the sub-task are not being removed from the Kanban board.  The subtask only remove the Kanban board when the fixed version from the parent story is added to the subtask.  This is very time consuming. 

The issue isn't in moving stories/sub-tasks to done.  The issue is when you release from the board, the Fix Version of the story is caught and the story is moved to done with the sub-tasks remaining.  Original ask was can we have the Fix Version set at the story level cascade to the sub-task level?
