Hi everyone! I’m excited to join this group and connect with other Jira enthusiasts.
I work as a Jira Admin, Staff Engineer 1, managing workflows, configurations, and automations for our teams.
An antiquated way of working I’ve noticed is relying on spreadsheets for tracking tasks instead of leveraging Jira; I’d love to see more teams fully embrace collaborative tools.
I hope to learn new Jira tips, best practices, and automation techniques from this community.
I also hope to share my experiences with workflow optimization and Jira administration.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and exploring photography.
Looking forward to engaging with everyone!
Hey everyone! I work at a small company that provides custom IT solutions. Since we're still growing we are also in the process of refining our workflow with Atlassian tools. For example we just started using the Jira Releases Feature.
Icebreaker 1: An antiquated was of working I#d like to see changed is relying on endless email chains for collaboration. They are hard to follow, things get lost etc. Centralized tools where all the context and updates are in one place would be great (and with lots of atlassian tools possible)
Icebreaker 2: In my free time, I'm into historical fencing and swordfighting - pretty much the complete opposite of my very modern and digital job!
I am currently an Atlassian System administrator at my company. I have been a front end developer for almost 20 years and gradually migrated away from development (coding) to more of the Scrum Master/Tech Lead/Atlassian Administrator
I love the Atlassian tools and have been using them quite a long time. It has been interesting to see how Atlassian has grown and adapted.
1. I work for NetJets Inc (Private Aviation)
2. Like others, the use of EXCEL is so frustrating, but for some that is the only option outside of getting an Add On, paying more money, etc..
3. Culture is a big hurdle for my company, and adapting to change moves at a glacial pace.
Hi all - Happy to join the Agile Community Group. I primarily work as a Scrum Master and Scrum Coach within my organization and also am on the Jira Administrators team helping other users with daily issues, etc. Excited to both contribute to and learn from this group!
Welcome to the community, @Scott Howard
Excited to be a member of the group, so I can learn more about the Agile World. Any tips will be appreciated.
Hello everyone!
Hi everyone!
I’m an Atlassian Consultant working at an Atlassian-focused consulting company. I truly enjoy being part of this amazing Atlassian ecosystem every day is an opportunity to learn something new and share experiences with great people in the community.
Outside of work, my favorite hobby is playing the drums — it’s a great way to relax and express creativity!
Currently I am responsible für a PMO-Team, that has to do both with agile PM and Atlassian Consulting - so it is intersting to deal with and combine both worlds, even though our projects are carried out exclusively in a hybrid manner
A bit late with with the holidays and year closure, but very much welcome to the group, @Carsten Severin _KUMAVISION AG_! Happy holidays!
Hello everyone, it's really great that a separate group dedicated to Agile methodology is active!
Hello everyone!
I have a background in project management and started working with Agile/Scrum in the beginning of 2000 (tell me how old you are without telling me how old you are..😂). I started working with Jira about 10 years ago because i needed to understand how it could help me manage my projects.
I soon transintioned to be the "the tool guy knowing Jira" and helped other users and projects to use the application more effectively. Today I have my own business helping organizations get the most out of the Atlassian platform.
For some reason I have not been that active on the forum but last year I started hanging around here and visited my local ACE here in Stockholm, Sweden. I also visited Team25 in Anaheim and Team25 Europe in Barcelona.
And yeah, I also got my first certification ACP-120
So, last year was very interesting. I have met so many fun, inspiring and talented persons and I am really looking forward to 2026!
I think we still have so much potential to explore and leverage both within ourselves and in the Atlassian universe.
Hi @Staffan Redelius and very much welcome to this group! I read a lot that I can very much relate to in your story and look forward to your contributions out here!
Welcome everyone! It’s fantastic to see so many agile-minded people eager to learn and collaborate carrying forward the vision the Agile Manifesto creators set in 2001 :) .. It is already 25 years.. Could you believe it?
Who is so old like me in the ecosystem and remembers GreenHopper? :D![]()
