Hi everyone! I’m excited to join this group and connect with other Jira enthusiasts.
I work as a Jira Admin, Staff Engineer 1, managing workflows, configurations, and automations for our teams.
An antiquated way of working I’ve noticed is relying on spreadsheets for tracking tasks instead of leveraging Jira; I’d love to see more teams fully embrace collaborative tools.
I hope to learn new Jira tips, best practices, and automation techniques from this community.
I also hope to share my experiences with workflow optimization and Jira administration.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and exploring photography.
Looking forward to engaging with everyone!
Hey everyone! I work at a small company that provides custom IT solutions. Since we're still growing we are also in the process of refining our workflow with Atlassian tools. For example we just started using the Jira Releases Feature.
Icebreaker 1: An antiquated was of working I#d like to see changed is relying on endless email chains for collaboration. They are hard to follow, things get lost etc. Centralized tools where all the context and updates are in one place would be great (and with lots of atlassian tools possible)
Icebreaker 2: In my free time, I'm into historical fencing and swordfighting - pretty much the complete opposite of my very modern and digital job!
