Epic cannot be displayed in backlog but is displayder under issues.

Hi, I am a new Bee for Jira using the trial version online.

Under backlog I used the create option and created a epic.I get alert for issue xyz created but is invisible.

I do see that under issues but not under Backlog.Checked for different posts talking about filters but I am still not able to figure the cause.

We use JIRA 7.9 server version.

For Epics which contain issues in the current FixVersion that we are building, we make sure the Epic's FixVersion is the same.

So, if we are implementing a New Feature in "Fixversion 1.0" and the New Feature is in Epic "ABC", we ensure the Epic is also assigned to "Fixversion 1.0".
