Hey @Vishal Kochhar - Welcome to the community. Can you please provide some information about the hierarchy? Sub-tasks should be under Stories or Tasks, not directly under Epics.

Jira treats sub-tasks as part of a parent issue (like a Story or Task), not standalone deliverables. Therefore, their estimates don’t roll up automatically into the parent’s estimate or appear in roadmap views like “Estimates (d)” unless configured.

Thanks,

Bharat

Hi Bharat,

Yes, Sub-tasks are under Stories or Tasks only.

Hierarchy: Epic ->Story/ Task -> Sub-task

In Jira, Sub-tasks estimates automatically rolls up to parent issue but this is not the case for roadmap.

How to configure automatic roll up of sub-task estimates into the parent in roadmap ? Kindly suggest.

Regards,

Vishal

I think in the view settings on the top right corner you can enable "rollups" for estimates and then make sure hierarchy is correct.

Can you please try if that fixes your issue.
