Roadmaps and Plans don't show tasks created

night187 November 29, 2024

First: I have checked the data sources over and over and over. For some reason it specifically won't take tasks from this one project I've got. It will take from others but I am not able to identify what is missing from this project and the tasks within it.

I've created fresh boards, fresh plans, new epics, stories, etc. Whenever I create the Epic and stories IN the plan and save changes, a popup says that they have been removed because there are missing details in the task I created, but it won't tell me what those missing details are. I don't know how to determine that. So every time I create a new one, it disappears into the ether and I can't get it back to the board.

Plan Issue Sources.JPG

That's from the issue sources, I've tried project, boards, filter, etc. It pulls from other projects but not this one which is the one we want. It tells us there are details missing but won't tell us what details are missing.

Hi @night187 ! 👋

Can you share a screenshot of your data sources?

Could be a subtlety in one of them - say, in the origin board, that board’s filter is excluding Task issue types.

Appreciate any insight!

Hi Dave, what do you want to see? In Issue Sources? Hard to know what to show you?
