I need a JQL query to get the epics from all the Project Initiative

"Parent Link" in (XX-1234)

Gives list of Project Initiatives under one Program Initiative, where XX-1234 is a Program Initiative. Say it gives a list of xx Project Initiatives.  And under each Project Initiative there are 3 or more Epics.

I want to list all the Epics from those xx Project Initiatives. I need this dynamically, because Under Program Initiative we might add, Close or remove Project Initiatives

Hello @Saritha Bs

This should do the trick, it's supported out of the box in Jira

issuekey in childIssuesOf("XX-1234") and type = epic

Here XX-1234 is the Program Initiative.

Thanks for the response, childIssuesof is not there :-(

I am getting this error "Unable to find JQL function 'childIssuesOf(xx1234)'.

Hello @Saritha Bs

This function is coming from the portfolio plugin (just like the "Parent Link" field)
