JQL to find issues in a Portfolio Plan

I'm trying to write a JQL query to pull all the issues in a Portfolio Plan.  I know I can manually run an export, I just prefer a JQL query, because I can query exactly what I need.

There is a solution mentioned in this article:

For issues in a specific plan

• To search for issues in a specific plan, type issuekey in issuesInPlan(54), where 54 is the unique ID of the plan.
• For example, you have this URL for your plan:
  https://teamsinspace.atlassian.com/secure/PortfolioPlanView.jspa?id=54&sid=68#backlog
The plan ID in the URL is 54.
  

BUT it does not seem to work for the cloud version of Portfolio.  The function IssuesInPlan returns the error when running a JQL query:

Unable to find JQL function 'issuesInPlan(29)'.

Am I missing something or is there another way to accomplish this?

You are correct, the JQL options are not available on cloud, here is an open ticket with atlassian - JPOCLOUD-7620

I am not aware of any workaround at the moment, but here is the documentation for Cloud version Searching for Portfolio for Jira custom fields in JQL
