I want to create a team. it says i need a plan.

what does that mean? what jira application. I see nowhere to got to Portfolio and create

Up the top of the screen there should be a "Portfolio" Menu with a downward arrow next to it.

Click on the arrow and a menu should pop down and "Create" should be at the bottom.

Hope that helps.

I guess that's the problem then. there is no Portfolio menu.

i installed Jira software 7.12.3 evaluation. And now I've installed portfolio so all is well.
