Global Time Settings Not Showing

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
We don't use days on our projects, just hours. I tried setting the number of hours in a day to a really high number but now when I go back to change it, the global time settings are gone. Any ideas on what's going on here and how to get them to display again?
