Kickstarting the week with a small improvement on Jira Plans to make your planning a little easier, we’re excited to announce a redesign of the “Create Work Item” dialog in the Plan timeline experience.
Unified Dialog: All fields are now available in a single, streamlined form, meaning no more navigating nested menus.
“Create Another” Checkbox: Quickly create multiple work items in a row without leaving the dialog.
Direct Group Creation: A new +
button on group headers lets you create work items directly within a group.

Easier Bulk Creation: The “Create another” option is perfect for power users and admins.
Open your Plan timeline.
Click the “Create Work Item” button (or the new +
on a group header).
Fill out the form and check “Create another” if you want to add more items.
Save and watch your plan update instantly!
