Will the new Portfolio planning experience be supported in Portfolio for Jira Cloud?

My client has just started using Portfolio for Jira and the new planning experience is very popular with them.  They will be migrating to Jira Cloud later this year and it currently does not appear Portfolio for Cloud supports the new planning experience. 

Are there plans for this to be supported?

The latest update we have for Portfolio for Jira Cloud is from Jake Brereton on this article where he answered another community member that had the same question as you. 
The article is about Server, but there are comments related to the Cloud version.
