Why did you change the team capacity configurations on Advance Roadmap?

In Jira Server we can set the hours per individual in the team per week in Advance Roadmap but on Jira cloud we can only set the capacity for weekly hours? Why is that? 

This is a major change that has us rethinking migrating to Jira cloud.

Can you explain the thinking for this change and also what the work around would be?

This change in capacity management was announced quite some time ago (in early 2021). While planning capacity at the individual level allows for great detail and accuracy, it also entails a lot of planning overhead. The individual planning features were part of Live Plans, which are also being discontinued on the server/data center version of Advanced Roadmaps.
