Sprint Overstated

Hi, hoping someone can help with this query.

I have a team which is showing on JIRA Plans as having 118 story points assigned to the sprint. However when I view the sprint the team only has 80 points in the sprint.

Does anyone know how I can get the story points on the Plans view to be updated correctly?

Hi @Kevin.Bruce 

The 38 points are on the Done issues. 
You should clear the Sprint field and/or fill the Resolution field as Done (not the status) on these issues (only possible during a status transition ! you'll have to modify the transition to Done with a post-action)

Watch out also "16 issues not assigned to sprint" probably means it will not be taken into account when you'll start the sprint.

Did you try to click on the first link jjust below "View backlog in Jira" 

I think it should be ok with a specific focus on green statused issues.

Have your Jira project admin check the sprint board as it may have statuses like - descoped or duplicates etc. not being visible when you are looking at the sprint itself.

If you run an issue report for the team where sprint = {your specific sprint} then this might highlight as well where the missing 38 points are.
