Portfolio Plan not synching after updating a Task in JIRA (3.13.0)

We are using version 3.13.0 of Portfolio Add On with JIRA v8.2.4.  

When I update a Task with an Epic in Jira the  change is not reflected in my plan within Portfolio. 

Below are the options that I see.

In my experience, you have to click on Calculate or the calculator icon (depending on your view) on the Portfolio Plan page to get tickets updated in Jira to reflect the changes in Portfolio.
