If the hierarchy in Advanced Roadmaps is changed, is that per project or for all of Jira?

We are wanting to change the hierarchy in Advanced Roadmaps which looks like a Jira Product config, and not a Project config. Will this change be only for specified projects, or for all of Jira?

Changes in hierarchy will apply to all your Jira projects and (advanced roadmap) plans in yoru Jira instance. When changing your hierarchy, there is a warning: "Changes to the hierarchy configuration will apply to all existing plans."
